Doug, After Googling I believe it is a Fibonacci spiral. Thank you for your comments. |

Linda, I like the larger photo. The color has a subdued 1960's look. The fanned out lines and spirals give City's Heartbeat plenty of movement. Whatever caused the two colors in the image works! Great job. |

Sylvia, The tv show is Hollywood Squares! This would be a good family reunion project. The interaction of the two squares with the water works must have been hard. Can't imagine the time and patience it took for you to create In-The-Box. Looks like the trick is to have interaction between subjects and eye contact to camera. Fantastic job!! |

Jim, I admire the decision you made in photographing the iris in the water. Even before editing you captured such elegance. Bringing out the two flowers on the right was good call.
You asked but I can not improve on your cropping decision. Thank you for the crop overlay tip. Beautiful image!

Doug, I very much like the placement of the objects and the quality of each item. The green color is sooooo soothing. Wondering if darkening the wall would enhance the objects and get rid of the shadow. I agree in eliminating the string on the jog in photoshop. Great still life.
Scott Kelby's online learning was highly recommended. He has a wealth of good information if you can absorb it all. |

Sabine, The Trilogy of Life is interestingly solemn. The soft background allows your mind to focus on the details of the flowers' stages of life . This leads to thoughts of personal life passages. The alignment of the flowers, rather than a straight line, help to define movement through life. Also, the similar colors and shapes enhance the Trilogy of Life theme. I thought they were the same flowers in different stages.
In answer to the group comments, I would play with adding definition to the flowers. I kinda like the idea of the first one being faded because it's not in full existence , middle flower more defined to exemplify life, and last flower showing the dryness of brown petals. Great job! You always have challenging class assignments. |
