Linda, Elevated Elegance portrays the many notes and tunes of the Center. Before reading your description my first thought was to emphasize the building creating an abstract city scape. But after reading your description, the tilt gives it a light airy feel with so many angels and shadows to carry you through.
I read somewhere that photographers and musicians are similar. A photographer combines lines, shapes, colors. A musician combines melodies. BTW, Ansel Adams' photography system is attributed to his classical piano training. Great image especially for an art center.

Your long lens is so worth it! But the weight is something to consider especially when traveling. |

Sylvia, Thank you for your comments. I agree and cropped to just the legs. The perspective was a push to be creative at a kids recital with an iPhone. C'est la vie! :) |

Sabine, Thanks for your comments. As you suggested, I cropped the image even further to show just their legs. I created a postcard size collage of the event with this photo. My immediate family disliked the photos. However, I haven't shown it to my niece yet. Taste is relative. It was just a fun event with my iPhone.
Showing your suggestions is helpful. I'm going to read the guideline directions and try again. Thank you. |

Cindy, Beautiful photo with the fence posts barely visible overtaken by the field. I can almost see the grass blowing. The bird brings the image together.
Your long lenses definitely give you very detailed shots. I should put this on my list as I'm contemplating buying a mirrorless camera. |

Jim, Beautiful serene image. I like the unusual low angel you chose to shoot the sunset. This added more colors to the rock. I do like Sabine's suggestion. The tight crop gives it a more linear perspective with the sun in the distance. Great job. |

Sylvia, The story your image sets up creates so many personal memories of childhood trips with family photographs. The photo album and film are a great vintage touch. This would be a perfect advertisement to sell cameras. Great detailed image. |

Douglas, Love your composition. I also looked up the tower. Shooting the tower at night gave it a majestic look. The golden light drew me in and the trees are perfect framing for the tower. Wondering how it would look if you sharpened the sky and cropped it a bit. I wanted to experiment myself but got stuck getting it in Lightroom. Great image.
BTW, what PSA course are you taking?

Sabine your light experiments are very interesting. This has a celestial quality. The balls resemble planets, galaxies...something you'd see in space. Your choice of lighting overhead looks like light shining from heaven and gives the balls texture. I also envisioned a man under the balls. Interesting.
For your future shoots, would it be possible to share your set ups? The end results are so fascinating.
