Linda, The colors of your harvest look warm and fresh at the same time. I like the arrangement in a semicircle around the plate. The eye is drawn to the tiny orange tomato and then to the deliciously arranged plate. Unfortunately, I don't have a garden, so I go straight to the market. |

Linda, thank you very much for your comment. I'm going to Scotland in November to photograph the Northern Lights. That was a good exercise. |

Jim, Thank you very much for your detailed comment. I have to admit that I only just noticed the house in the mountains. |

Randy, You have succeeded in creating an atmospheric image of a sunset. The wonderful colors contribute to this.
The crop is also well chosen, the image composition is perfect, overall a beautiful image.
Perhaps you will like my idea.
I have intensified the colors of the sky a little.
Perhaps you will like the small change.

Interesting challenge to photograph bugs, Sylvia.
You have staged the bug well, on a flower that matches the bug, so the flower is not distracting.
I can't see that the bug is dead because there is light in its eyes. I never thought that bugs could be interesting photographic objects. This one looks like a little piece of jewelry because of its golden color. The longer I look at the golden bug, the more it fascinates me.

Jim, you have captured a wonderful sunset. You've done well with the sun star, the right aperture for it. I like the warm colors, the drifting clouds that contrast with the calm landscape.
I like Doug's crop in the division 1 third to 2 thirds.
What do you think about darkening the sky a little, that would give your picture even more depth.
Here is my idea.

A sports scene, caught at the right moment with the right camera setting, well done, Doug.
The action is powerful, the sand almost on my desk.
I like your image processing, you have made great progress in editing with Lightroom.
The blurred background in particular draws the eye even more to the actual scene.
Perhaps I would have left the referee in the picture as he is part of the situation and to have more contrast in the picture. Static versus dynamic.
But that's just a thought.

Yvonne, to have such beautiful surroundings for your morning jog is fantastic.
I love water lilies and this little beauty immediately catches your eye.
The bank area also catches my eye, which is rather dark and contrasts with the shapes of the leaves. That's why I tried to include this area in the picture. I took a square and placed the water lily on the strong point. That is a suggestion. Maybe you will like it. |

Randy, thanks for your comment.
It was really something special to experience the thunderstorm.
It's definitely worth trying out the interval function to be prepared for such situations. |

I've already had the opportunity to photograph lightnings.
But as soon as you press the shutter release, the lightning has already disappeared again. |

Doug, you've hit the nail on the head! That's exactly how it was.....
I didn't have to do much post-processing. I lightened the foreground a little. |

Thank you for your comment, Sylvia.
That was great photographer's luck. The weather, a dry balcony and just the right photographic equipment at hand. |
