Linda, What a great image of the inside Kimmel Center. The many different materials give the building its character. The glass makes it modern and transparent so that you can see the sky. I like this special blue. The large screen promises interesting entertainment. |

Sylvia, I admire your diligence and perseverance!
Seven different positions - your daughter was a great model!
You have succeeded in the image composition. I see two daughters in the front, two daughters in the middle and two standing against the wall and one in the middle of all. They all have different facial expressions. You and your daughter have done well!
Next time I would pay attention to the posture of the person in the middle. The person should definitely look into the camera. An astonished facial expression, for example, and a surprised gesture would give your image a statement.
That's my idea. I think you have got your own idea how to express your statement.

In the second image the window is in the viewer's focus too. I highlighted the window by darkening the surrounding.
But these are just suggestions. |

Jim, What a wonderful impression of Corning NY (I had to look it up und learned something about the city- thank you for that!)
I see the red window, the green branches and the ornaments and notice the strong red-green contrast. Great!
In my opinion sharp tree branches are not necessary.
It was a good idea to crop the image and to increase the saturation as you have done.
The question is what should be the main focus in the image -is it the tree, the window or the ornaments?
They are all strong points that compete with each other.
I decided to put the window in the focus and straightened it a little.
That was my reason for cropping the image below. Now the ornaments look more like a piece of frame.

Douglas, first of all thanks for the story behind your image. Very interesting!
I like the clean architecture too, the festive lighting and the colors of the house. You tried to correct the lines, I tried it too, but I think it is not possible. One line will always be non-parallel.
Because of your description that you took that photo at night, I changed the curves to an S-shape. I darkened the shadows and lightened the highlights. This is just a suggestion.

Yvonne, I look at the boy and can read his mind. A large thought bubble floats above his head. "That`s art? I can do that too!" Your images always tell a story to me and that's what I love. Great!
When you start looking at the image, the focus falls directly on the child but then wanders to the pipe. Cropping to a square would help to keep the focus on the boy and his line of vision.
