Linda, I like that the part of the landscape is very small but still present. The dark landscape also means that all attention is focused on the eternal horizon. It is great to see so many different cloud structures. |

Jim, Thank you for writing the location. I read about the place on the internet. Now I understand where the waves come from. I was a little bit confused because the water is calm, but a splashing wave is to be seen. I like the way you edited your image. The light on the rocks fits wonderfully into the morning mood.
To bring the wave more into focus I would crop the image tighter. Then the wave appears even more powerful. But that's just a suggestion.

Cindy, This is really an interesting image. I´ve never seen something like that before.
One could imagine that it took a long time for the tree to grow through the container.
For me, the most interesting part is in the bottom left of the picture. I would make this part the eye-catcher of my photo. But that's just a suggestion.

Sylvia, You really have an eye for abandoned houses. This one tells a different story for everyone who is looking at the image.
To bring the house even more into focus, I would crop the image tighter.
More details can be seen. Now the door at the bottom right leads the viewer directly into the house.
But that's just a suggestion.

Doug, What a great portrait of the young birthday guest! Joy and pride smile at me.
What do you think about darkening the top right corner slightly? This keeps the focus on the child.

Yvonne, Thank you for your comment.
I am surprised how my picture affects you. That`s what our discussion is about, getting to know other perspectives.
This image was taken indoor. Both -the parachute and the flashlight were on a table. The drop was glycerin, which is good for taking photos and looks like water. With the help of a pipette you drip a drop into the middle. |

Yvonne, that's exactly how I imagine an American holiday festival. Beside lights, a parade,a dancer surrounded by Christmas decoration.
I like her posture, the way she looks and performs. I love the atmosphere you captured.
As Linda has written to see the arm and feet - this would have made your image perfect.
