Sylvia, it`s really difficult to take photos of a spider web and this is a good shot. You can even see the little drops on the net. The blurred background brings the spider web into the focus of the viewer.
I like the black and white conversion, it has a spooky look. I also like the original because of the warm autumn colors in the background. At the same time, it looks like a jungle to me. Well done!

I really feel transported back to the old days when I look at your image, Cindy. I love the old truck with all its details. The image looks like something out of a movie set. You get the feeling that someone is about to come out of the gas station, get into the car and drive away.
What did you use to remove the white column? Perfect processing without visible transitions.

An enchanting portrait of a butterfly, Jim. Good cropping to put the butterfly in focus, well-edited blurred background and ascending lines from bottom right to top left for the viewer.
I am impressed.

Linda, an interesting image characterized by parallel lines, light, shadow and different shapes. The colors red and yellow play a role, friendly warm colors that will accompany you. The rails lead into the depths of the image, your path into the future. An exciting journey lies ahead of you, definitely, even if the path will not always be straight. |

You managed to create a good portrait in natural light, Doug. I like that the head is in the top left corner, in the upper third of the image and the impression of "looking down on something" arises.
There are so many facials expressions, but I can't interpret this one. Mysterious.
What camera settings did you have?

Thank you for your comment, Doug. Mushrooms are simply good models to start with macro photography. |

Thank you for your comment, Sylvia. Ich knelt on the floor and worked with a floor tripod, which was quite exhausting. |

Yvonne, Thank you for sharing your work in progress. To sharpen her is a good idea to make her personality even more visible. I was immediately captivated by her face, the angular facial features. The black and white conversion is perfect for the image message.
I would give the woman a little more space, crop the image a little less. That would make her even lonelier. But that is my opinion.
I am looking forward to the final result. Please show us.

I am impressed by this wonderful work of art. An elderly lady in the bright autumn....of her life. |
