Hi Sylvia, Sorry, I am not familiar with Lightroom. I use Photoshop and Photoshop Elements to edit my images.
In Photoshop you can remove things with the help of the repair brush. |

How I did it Morning Silence
Thank you for your comments. If you compare the original to the edited image the only thing I did was to make the image a little bit darker. The sun shouldn`t shine so brightly. To reach this I worked with color layers, multiplied them and reduced the opacity. I used blue so it doesn't look so cheesy.

Jim, bright autumn! A single leaf, still it is held by the branch, but soon it will fall down. A color matching blurred background. I really love your editing.
When I look at your image classic autumn poems come to my mind.

Cindy, through your editing you have managed to make the moment even more threatening. The dark clouds, the rising sun in the background and the barn in the foreground, a good image composition.
I don't really know why but I prefer the barn on the left as in the original.
Maybe it is because you see the barn first and then your gaze goes further into the distance. An atmospheric great photo. This is how I imagine life in the American countryside.

Sylvia, you have done your job very well. I can see the geometric architecture. The all over image looked like mirrored. I think you had a good position to take this photo. Did you work with a tripod?
I know that's difficult to take a backlight shot. I like both, the architecture and the background / garden? For this reason, I multiplied the outside. I also removed the sign.
That`s how I would have edited it. This is just an idea.

Douglas, I can see what you mean, the contrast of the soft lines of the artwork to the hard lines of the construction of the building. The well-chosen crop leads the viewer directly from the bottom right into the image. I like the autumn colors of the flowers. They bring some warmth to the image.
An interesting photo.
I would have gone a little to the left before taking the photo. Then the artwork would stand between the two arch lines.

Yvonne, I love the colors, especially the warm orange in the morning light. The green on one hand supports the orange and on the other hand contrasts the orange. The ivy coming up from the lower left tells a story for me. A story of nature and environment/buildings living in a harmonious relationship supported by the light. Well seen.
I'm not sure if I would have cropped the image like you did. But a larger image section would have a different statement.
What do you think about straightening the lines and choosing a different format? |

It's just like Wande wrote, you open the website and the first line says "current images". I love seeing other images and sometimes one immediately catches my eyes. |

What a stunning image, Jim. I really love it the way it is, only sharp / detailed hands in focus. It tells a story , not a funny one but a touching one. |
