I've never seen a woodpecker before. What a beautiful nature shot! I like the fluffed feathers. The red tuft on the woodpecker's head immediately draws the viewer's attention.
Is this a young one?? Looks a little bit exhausted. |

What I can see is a winter scene with an interesting composition. The gate white open invites to come in and discover what's behind. |

I'm really impressed. Last weekend I tried to take a photo of a rabbit sitting in a meadow. I wasn't nearly as successful as you. A wonderful portrait of a rabbit. Sharp, especially the head and ears, even the whiskers are to be seen. What I like very much is the horizontal position of back- and foreground, means, that the head of the rabbit is in the lighter part, what strengthen the head and gives through light on the ears.

What a great image and excellent result of your architecture photography class. Instructors gives you advice but it's you who create the image. I like the interplay of light and shadow. The young girl on the steps is framed, among other things, by vertical and ascending lines. Her posing breaks through the straight structures in the image. |

What a spectacular sky! You can see the horizon which brings depth to the image. In my
opinion you are successful in showing how small "we-the owners" are. But in contrast, the sky and the clouds do not appear threatening on this late afternoon. It's a well composed and atmospheric
image. I would like to see the original. |

I can hear the soft lapping of waves against the stones. A calming, atmospheric image
with a good composition. The green plants in the foreground bring color to the image.
Well done! I wonder if the image could be a bit richer in contrast.
To get more attention to the plants, I would increase the saturation of the yellow and green channel, so this strengthen the strong point of the plants. |
