Archictectural photography is exciting but also difficult.
But you will definitely enjoy it. We are looking forward to your pictures. |

I'll try to describe it that way.
What you can see now are vertical straight lines and vertical oblique lines |

There are always some workshops around my hometown Hildesheim.
I took this image during a workshop at the community college. |

This is a well composed image. The lighthouse is in the strong point. The view goes from left directly to the main object. The morning mood is well captured, the image processing was successful. Great photo!
There is one thing I noticed. Since the light comes from behind, the front of the trees should be a little bit darker.
I made a small change to your image hope you don't mind my suggestion.

Leading lines, fog over the water, dark background contrasting the foreground - nature and image just wonderful. |

At first I thought the tree trunk is a disturbing element - right in the middle behind the peacock.
But then I changed my mind. The tree trunk leads directly to the main object. The observer's view is orientated towards the center. I really like the colour setting - in my opinion very natural.
If it was my image I would have given it a little more room on the left.

A great photo! I've never heard about Chicagohenge before. I like the atmosphere at sunset. The warm colours are wonderful. You have captured the sun stars well. I love it.
The only thing I would have done before cropping the image, I would have straightened the converging (falling) lines. |

Thanks, Linda. You are absolutely right - a little bit of the shoulder should to be seen. I am going to edit the image again and consider your idea. |

Thanks for your comments Cindy. Since it has light tones only with little contrast I would also say that it is a High key. |

Hello Cindy,
I can really feel the early winter morning. I see snowflakes and birds sitting on a branch the feathers fluffed. I am not an expert on birds - what kind of birds are these? Where did you take the image?
What I also like is the bright background which highlights the birds.

Hello Sylvia,
Preparing a nest - what a lovely nature image. You caught the right moment!
The blurred background goes very well with the image - the view focuses on the bluebird.
