Thanks for suggestions from all of you. I like wings to be less than sharp as it conveys action. |

Amazingly good job of bringing out the image. In lightroom I reduced noise and brought up shadows for some fine tuning. |

There is a Photoshop Express for iPhones with highlights and shadows adjustments. The image could use some shadows brightening. Otherwise a great photo. |

Beautiful scene and good post processing. Here is another approach using NIK HDR to bring out the dark areas. Maybe too much for some tastes. |

A good conversion to a sepia image, although I usually don't like monochrome as it eliminats information. If you want to emulate 1950s or earlier, more contrast was common. The contrast you have is better. To better document the real boy, keep color, just reducing saturation of the red shirt so it is less distracting. I reduced it a lot. Others may prefer less reduction. Doing the same with the red in the hat would be good. Great subject with the smile and missing tooth.. |

Good choice of shutter speed although a little faster would be a more realistic option. Another option would be to crop out the secondary falls. That also results in a good balanced composition. I like the scattered orange leaves complementing the blueish water. That lens has an amazing wide zoom. Excellent photo. |
