Mohanan,
I did notice after I send the two photos that they were different, but they were taken in burst mode with 0.2 seconds between so they have the same settings and colors. You are very observant and the only one of our group that mentioned it.
There have been varying comments on the colors, but they are accurate in the final version. I understand this is an art and accuracy many not be that important. My physicist background gets in the way of art sometimes. |

A good composition of near mid and far areas. I like the two groups of people, to add stories. Very appealing scenery. |

Bogdan,
Thanks for your tips. I looked up Remove Color Cast in Photoshop and I was referred to using white balance that is what I did. Further searching suggested curves on individual RGB colors. Is that what you mean?
Darkening the image was a good suggestion.

Good photo opportunity. I like your cropping and darkening of the background to make the Egret pop. Although the square format is fine, an option would be to include the entire reflection in a portrait format. It is plenty sharp. I think the left to right preference comes from the direction of writing in some languages. I don't have any preferrence personally. For reference I am right handed. |

Excellent story with the parent affection and child perk. Good plant and flower context. Don't change a thing.

Well captured image and good post processing. I would prefer context objects to tell a story.

As is, this is a good texture shot. Nair's blurring suggestion makes the center pop as you title suggests. |

Interesting and realistic frog statue. Some don't like to see photos of works of art, but I don't mind.
Good composition.

The original photo color is attractive I agree. I white balanced the swans to get accurate color and it is the dry season pallet for Southern California. We have two seasons, wet and dry. Incidentally, temperature at the coast changes only 6 C. in the daily high, average for a month.dd
Good suggestion to include more wake. Thanks |
