Please excuse the lack of clarity in my comment on the net. What I mean was to position the model to the side so she is not in front of the posts at the end of the net, but in front of uniform net. I agree that the blur effectively conveys the action. Fine photo. |

Excellent ¾ view perspective. Vivid colors and sharp. Background depth of field blur is perfect. I would not have guessed you consider it a compromise cropping. The building would have been a distraction. Excellent. |

Good subject of a playful family. Odd quantity of subjects is a good choice. Some sharpening artifacts at edges. The dust colored blue is not realistic. Perhaps too much saturation or color balance off a little. Background hill perfect. Great nature image. |

Bunny,
Thanks for the suggestion. Reviewing other images in the series shows that once the incoming bird did land on an adjacent branch so you are correct. Another time the incoming bird landed on the nest, trickier and perhaps expected by the bird in the nest. |

Excellent choice of model. Her youth and enthusiasm are compelling. I don't think it looks too modeled. It doesn't look like a game but perhaps a practice and that is good. The sharpness and proximity of the background detail are distractions. The model positioned in front of the net is an option. The face and eye sharp and the net blurred by panning would be better. The action shown by blur is effective. |

A spectacular subject. Cropping off the lower distractions is good. Perhaps not so centered but giving the bird some image space to look into is an option. |

Welcome to our group. Your choice of almost full dark interior is creative. I saw that recently in a photo print exhibition. There and here I don't know if it is displayed as desired. I see some faint detail and when I copied it into Photoshop, using Curves I see more is there. An option would be to show the interior less faintly. That or fully dark would be my preferences. Left side windows would be better vertical as can be done with Photoshop, Perspective Crop Tool. The several views of the exterior are interesting and I like the uncentered composition. |

Good range of contrast and early sun glow. The sky color is unnatural and I prefer the natural colors of the jpeg version. Good choice of subject. The triangle shapes are attractive and the mountain amazing. |
