Thanks for your comments. I downloaded the image to make sure it was not degraded from what I submitted. I expanded it and see it to be one pixel sharp, as good as possible.
A greater exposure would have been better, I agree. I normally turn the compensation knob to increase exposure for dark birds, but didn't have the time for this shot.
My lens has a #2 image stabilization mode that works only in vertical for use with panning horizontally because panning interferes with IS. When I can be panning in both directions I turn off IS. Your camera may differ. |

A creative still life of different types of objects. Perhaps ripe red tomatoes would be good. The words are a distraction. My first photography teacher told me to avoid words. The reflection is effective. A very interesting and prize worthy image. |

Great action shot. Extensive post processing is very effective in making an impressionistic image. |

This a marvelous action shot. The green dominates the image. It could be burned or desaturated but I would crop it out completely. It is good to brighten the eye and it could be dodged a little more. I love bird action and you nailed this one. |

A beautifully brilliant image. The seats at the bottom provide a good grounding or context. The curve on the right is good and dramatic. Consider cropping off the curtains on the left. If that makes the image too narrow for you, consider changing the image proportions. Then of course is would be not accurate. Just a crazy idea of mine. It is perfect as is. |

This shows an excellent selection of near, mid and far interest. I like the person and red roofed building. Maybe the red is too distracting from the rest and could be dodged, but that is a nit. Best image in the month of good images. |
