Thanks,Joan, for your suggestions. I have attached other versions at your suggestion. Selection of the bird in the process allowed trimming and sharpening the edges. The image was also sharpened leaving some artifacts. Is the blurred and reversed one disqualified for Nature category?
The 51 MPixel camera allowed the high degree of cropping, substituting for a longer lens, while making it easier to keep the bird in the field of view. |

This an interesting texture shot with soft subjects framed by the trees. Is there enough interest? That depends on one's interest. |

Good idea to make a post card. Good combination of excellent shots. I like the handicapped person. Other classes of people are a thought, a family, maybe even a photographer, but your one example is sufficient. |

This is a creative and interesting angled image using the level of the walk in perspective. Good cropping out of the cars. I like the contrast of the people with the textures. |

The composition is excellent with the welcoming arch, and leading curb to a statue. The awnings and car in the background are a bit of a distraction and could be removed. Saturation increase is believable and enhances the image. |

Added info. This version is for Nature category with nothing removed or added. Branches in the upper right are a distraction and I have another version with a water background from another photo taken the same day. It could be a bit sharper in spots, but I did do a lot of cropping. |
