Sorry, I'm so late in looking at your image. The picture certainly drew a reaction from me of sadness, thinking about the carnage at this historical place. I imagine the white leather gloves would not be as pristine. Good shot and a great story. |

A trip like that sounds like my kind of fun. There's energy in this image which synchronizes very well with the vivid colors. I would probably leave more room on the left as the crop is really close to his wrist. The man has beautiful hands. You really caught the sinews, veins plus the texture of his hands. Like this very much. |

Nancy, as soon as I saw the photo I knew it was your mother's hands. All the years of her life are shown in this image. I think it's perfect just the way it is. It tells a wonderful story of someone well loved. I have a different take on the silverware. I would prefer that is was removed or at least darkened as it draws my attention away from the main subject. Just lovely. |

Carole, an interesting perspective on your hand. Sometimes I look at my hands and think how did I get this old? Then I remember all the wonderful things I have done with this hand. I like that you showed us your hand and I like the positioning of it. |

Thanks Carole. I asked Bob to hold the key because he's always going somewhere. He frequently works out of town and is gone during the week. So there was a connection between the key and his hand. |
