Thank you Connie for your suggestions. I agree about cloning out the partial planes, and I'll play with the lower left corner. |

Lee Ann, I am getting the best starbursts from this lens. This is on my Olympus camera with their fisheye lens. I agree on your suggestion. Thanks for being so helpful. |

Hi Nancy, so glad that you are with us. Great take on "unusual perspective." Along with everyone else, I agree that black and white was the right choice for this image. I agree that the picture might be enhanced if you cropped in from the left or cloned out the words. I played with the cropping and think your's is best. I did't notice the knife initially and wondered if you'd want to lighten it up as it seems to me that's part of the story. Looking forward to seeing your future images. |

As in Carole's picture, I am picturing you laying on the ground taking this image. Super clever. I would not have thought to do this. I would also suggest denoise either in LR or Camera Raw. They have worked well for me. Topaz DeNoise is great, but my computer is older and it takes forever. Nik has Define for noise reduction. Removing the spots and space on the left would make this a stronger image. Well done Connie. |

Great color, texture and point of view Carole. I am trying to picture you taking this shot. I think it's great the way it is. The only nit-picky thing I would change is to take a slice off of the bottom so it doesn't hinder us entering into the photo. It's a bit blocked for me. Otherwise, love your creativity. |

Lee Ann, I like that you took your image from the backside. It's fun to have that different perspective that we don't often observe. I played with it a little cropping and make it a square, so the black, which was distracting to me, is removed. I also toned down in LR with print preview, the colors that were out of gamut. I don't know how accurate LR is with that, but the image, to my eyes, appeared over saturated. Keep shooting the backs of flowers as it's a creative approach to something so beautiful. |

Ally, if you hadn't said you happened upon this woman, I would have thought it was a set up. How convenient that she is standing in the middle of a triangle. I wanted to place more emphasis on her so I twisted the image in Lightroom which resulted in a bit of a crop. Definitely like the color better. |
