Hello all. The revised version looks great. I love seeing the feet too. They also tell a story. This photo is competition worthy I think. |

I also would like to add that the lines on the man's shirt suggest "movement". Re your shot in Group 5, I like the original version best. The woman's hair is part of the picture/story. It is a nice capture. |

Hi Keisha,
Nice shot! I agree that the emotion is key here. It looks best (in my opinion also) in black and white, because the lights and red mark etcetera don't distract the viewer. This also would be good in open competition.
Cheers,

"Now Mari's a street photographer

She went down to the local in search of some inspo
And her capture got several likes"
This is a really cool photo. As soon as I saw it, it reminded me of Piano Man... especially with the two men at the front.
I think you've captured the scene well, and the facial expressions are worth a thousand words. PLEASE put this in a competition sometime.

Hi Michele,
I really enjoyed looking at this photo. The action is great.
With cropping, you could crop out the sewer and maybe tilt the photo slightly, so that you don't chop off the drummer's shoes?
It is a fun photo - great shot. |

Hi Chuck,
It would be an interesting experiment to have black and white, but with the tartan tie and one green pine tree (looks Christmassy). I like the black and white version best. The dodging is noted. The story aspect is great. |

Hi Keisha,
Thank you for the comments. Having more space is something I need to work on. The pipers were on the move so I had to be quick - but there is scope for framing of course. Welcome to the group. We have the best group leader! |

Hi Lou,
Thank you for the valuable feedback.
I see your point re framing a little too tight. I really need to get a wider-angled lens.
I have one but it doesn't zoom in much. I suppose I could crop the photo at the knees, for example. The greens are sort of overpowering, that is true.
Cheers.
