Hi Lou. I agree with you that the orange box could be toned down. I'm still learning how to do that. Thanks for the feedback. |

Hi Marianne. I would like to see the image cropped even more so that we are closer to the pair. This is the main part of the story, I guess. You've captured it nicely and I can see the father trying to teach his son. It is a clear photo and looks good in black and white. |

Hi Jeff. I had to look at the contents of the pot. You have a typo in your photo title, but that's okay. At first I wondered whether you were having a dig at what was cooking (crap?). I can't see the contents of the pot in your cropped photo. Still, you have captured the scene nicely and it is obviously a cookoff. |

Hi Michele. I did not know that there were still shoe shiners. We used to have them, but only in the big cities. My father sometimes got his shoes shined at big shopping centres because he didn't want to shop with Mum and I. They did a great job. There is a story there, with the man looking at you and the shiner and the bird. Perhaps you might consider cropping out the wheel or blurring it a bit. Otherwise, I like the photo. Seems like the bird is looking at you too. :D |

Hi Lou,
I like the street photo in black and white. I'm fascinated by whatever they are selling - maybe okra, garlic, some nuts and maybe green chillis. Anyway, it is a very real scene. I love how you cropped out the man walking and brought us closer to the people in the photo. Good work. |
