Hi Patti, you have certainly captured an interesting scene. I think the background with the trees creates some mystery, which is good for a fortune teller scene. I think that you could try removing the lamp post with the sign in the middle of the picture. It takes the eye of the viewer away from the woman's hand and the alligator. The black and white works well. |

Wow! Great shot of Grand Central. The black and white version is very effective. I like how there are focussed and unfoccussed people. It suggests constant movement. Well done! |

Nicely captured, Michele. The different looks do tell a story. The front man is the schemer, the bearded man is assessing the situation and the man on the left is watching and waiting (etcetera). Your photo has umpteen possiblities for a story line, and it is sharp. I love the black and white version |

This is a nice capture, Lou. I think the colour version is best because of the colours of the olives, preserved lemons and so on. The blue line (light) is a little distracting for me, so maybe you could "dim the light" a bit. |

This is a good shot of someone at work. The reindeer antlers give it a feeling of Christmas. I like the black and white version best. One suggestion would be to have Mary glance toward the camera, though she might have then lacked concentration for the work. It is a very "Christmassy" picture. |
