If the man standing next to the customer is security then maybe he is looking at the photographer. It could be any bar. The image is sharp and well captured. It seems as though the viewer is standing at the edge of the bar so we are part of the scene. Great use of technique there. It is a good "street" shot. Well done.

I like how the queue extends beyond the picture. You have captured a good story (and it is outdoors, which we probably wouldn't see here in Oz). So they all have trolleys and probably want to return stuff.... black and white works well and you've captured facial expression nicely.

Thank you for the photo, Michelle. Both persons are focused on their transaction and you have brought us closer to the action with your post processing. I didn't know there was a place called "Jodphur" in India. Is that where the name for "Jodphurs" comes from? Welcome to the group.

Nicely done. I like the idea of using some colour and wonder what it would look like with just the middle girl in colour. Just wondering. Your photo makes a good story with everyone engrossed in their phones and they didn't notice you.
It is a nice clear shot. |

It is interesting to be able to see what is reflected in his sunnies (possibly you taking his picture). The photo of the guy is good in black and white. It probably uses the rule of thirds too. It's one of the clearest street shots I've seen. The car is good too. The blur certainly reflects speed and it is a well placed/timed shot. |

Hi Michelle. I probably would agree about having more of the child. However, as mentioned earlier, I took it on the spur of the moment. It was very much a "see and shoot" photo taken in an instant. In an ideal setting I would have had time for composition. On that occasion there was no time. I am in beginner's grade at my photo club. Thank you for the feedback though. It is duly noted. |

Hello Patti.
See "About the Image" above. I note your point about seeing all of the child. He was doing a somersault, actually. As the child was moving I did not have time to catch his entire body. I left the feet and bags in to show different levels. I didn't want to crop any further. I think it tells part of the story. |
