Hi Chuck,
Yes, it is a butt shot. The food was delicious. I will try again in late October at the French Christmas market. I hope they have French Christmas biscuits (or something like that). |

Hi Beth,
I suspect you are right there. I probably should have focused on the seller and the little "Couchon". I'll try again in late October at the French Christmas market. ;) |

Hi Patti. I like the story behind your photo. I noticed a bit of blur around the edge of his shoulder. Could you try cropping out the tree to the left of the picture? Well done capturing this scene. |

Definitely "too cool for school". This picture looks like it came right out of a music video. Well spotted. I think Stephen's lightening effect works well. Thanks for sharing and for the tips on exposure. Your subject is really interesting. |

The "farmer" is a standout in the picture. I like your edit and blurring the background is effective. I think the image could work well either in colour OR black and white. The hand certainly suggests a transaction, so it adds to the story. You have a super image right there. |

Hi Lou,
This is quite a story. It is fortunate that you were there last year (and not this year). You've captured the man's expression perfectly and it is a sharp photo. I like the two contrasting snakes. I agree that you have done a good job of editing.
Thank you for the comment on my showcase photo. The cockatoos mated earlier this year due to warm weather and some neighbours have seen baby cockatoos in their yard sooner than expected. |

Hi Chuck,
I notice that your original is also B&W. The women and baby do stand out - and I notice the tall clock peeping over the top of the tent. I think the trees look a bit pale, too. Bringing the ladies and "bub" closer is effective. At least the woman walking next to the pram can say "I carried a watermelon". Grin. |
