The dulcimer player cuts an interesting figure. It is great that you could capture the boy at that moment. I like the processing - it has brought the image forward nicely and we can see the people reflected in the windows. |

This is a story telling image. I think it would work well in both colour AND black and white. Seeing the boy watching the droplets is fascinating. You've done a great job of showing his emotion. Well spotted, I agree.

Ah. So this is pre-game. I thought the man had a gun pointed at the lady in the cowboy hat too. It is an interesting photo and I want to see it in colour. Maybe a zoom in on the players could be good. I'm guessing you took other pictures too? |

I can see the anticipation and excitement on the faces of the people. That makes the image. Love the colours (very patriotic) and the use of the flags. It almost seems like there are 2 or 3 photos there. You've captured the atmosphere well. I have a question. If I went to a 4th of July celebration in the US, what would be a "must have" food and drink? I went to a 4th of July celebration here on an American ship in Newcastle and we had a variety of things.

This is a sharp scene. I think the man with the hair looks interesting. He would not be out of place in Hair the musical (a home for the buzzing bees etcetera...)
Perhaps you could crop the right hand side a little more to delete what is in the top right corner. I see 3 stories there - the couple on the balcony, the man with the hair and the people heading to the museum.

This image is almost jumping off the page it seems - very life-like. I like the expressionate faces. It screams "summertime" and the father and daughter look happy. I wish I was there doing a chow down. The reflections on the table are pretty good also. |
