Diana and Barbara, yes I agree, won't do well in a salon or exhibition, I probably won't submit it anyway. It's just a moment preserved for myself. |

I'd crop the trees from the right and to above the faces from the top. Maybe a liitle more contrast may add to the atmosphere. Somehow I do not hink it is something I would submit for a competition.

Yes, Diana, this one is for me, I don't think it will have any chance in a competition, or even in a LRPS panel!

As it stands, I agree that the color is more pleasing to the eye. Maybe a sepia tinted mono can keeo the warmth. Worth a try?

That's good to know, I'm planning to try a few still lifes, so will keep focus stacking in mind. |

Nice and interesting composition. Maybe pull back the highlights a bit is all I can suggest. Sice it is a still subject why not use f/16 or f/22, may not need focus stacking. |
