A great image Peter, I especially am drawn to the "fire" on the mountains. It's a great composition. If I were going to suggest anything, it would be to lower the shadows on the cliffs and add even more light to the town. Just a great shot and composition, congratulations. |

I like the composition Ian with the sky taking a major role. It sounds like what you saw with your eye and original post processing had more color in the sky. I also try to create a final image that shows what my eye saw and sometimes it's difficult to achieve. I see the water on the right and how the long exposure changed it. The 61 second exposure shows some movement in the clouds, but it must have been a calm day. I hope your work helps others in your club appreciate long exposure work. |

Great image of the saguaro's Butch and I especially like the rim lighting you were able to capture. Timing was critical and a scene like that only lasts for a couple of minutes, so going hand held was probably the only choice. You've captured the colors very well. We spent 8 winters in the Phoenix area and while I tried, I never could capture a good image of the saguaro's, I think my time in the north with all the trees and lakes always had me thinking the desert was too empty. I appreciate seeing photo's that prove me wrong and challenge my creative thinking. |

Each image of Africa that I see makes me want to return. You have a great image and the sunset and sky are terrific. There isn't much time when the sun is setting to get a good image, but you've managed to do so. The migration is always a best guess and we were fortunate enough to see several on a trip on the Kenyan side of the Mara river last year. A real wonder to witness. |
