Great image Peter. The colors really pop out, so you did some good work in capturing the image and post work to brighten things up on a rainy day. I like the composition with the temple on the left, and the bridge leading up to the person with the parasol. My eye was drawn to the central area of the image and stayed there to see the intricate details of the temple, bridge and trees. |

Very nice work Ian. I liked the wall in the foreground and the V shape that leads into the valley, great to direct my eye into the valley area. The detail in the wall is excellent and provides a strong foreground for the image. I might suggest either cropping in from the right or adding some light and contrast to the farther wall on the right side. It took me a few moments before my eye reached that area, so something to pull my eye over might be beneficial. It took work and planning to get 4 images into the panorama, so congratulations on the result. I would agree that the sky could be cropped a bit to keep more focus on the wall and the valley, with the bottom 1/3 of the sky adding some interest. |

You created an interesting image Ahmed. The snow like river leads me through the image. The rocky foreground set a base and the mountains in the background create the feeling of being in a valley. I like the black and white processing, but would fix the sky to eliminate the reflection from the lens. |

A great image Dave, the tree with all the frost pulled my eye to it immediately. I do agree that a bit of darkening of the background helps the tree stand out even more. I also agree that a higher shutter speed is essential in the cold, because those temperatures introduce a lot of photographer shake. Yellowstone is a favorite location for me and the winter offers a lot to see without many visitors, but the weather can be brutal. |

A great image Butch. The lightning bolt is in the center and reaches from the top of the image, through the clouds, and finally striking the canyon. My eye is immediately pulled to it and its impact on the image. I like the black and white processing and your work on the clouds and canyon to add contrast and give the image a real sense of a storm coming. Great job! |

A very good image Sherry and it does reflect both the vastness and emptiness of the location. It's hard to find a location that doesn't have lots of people. I like the mass of the mountain and its reflection in the water. You have a good foreground with the middle layer of water which helps isolate the mountain from your location. Makes it seem somewhat out of reach or inaccessible. I agree that the image could be cropped to reduce the sky as it doesn't seem to add to the image. |

Thanks for your feedback Butch. I agree that it takes several visits and numerous location attempts to have a chance at a good image. |
