Welcome Ahmed! I like the image and agree that shooting from a moving vehicle is challenging with no opportunity to reposition or retake a shot. I like the position with the mountains containing the river and forcing its direction. The river presents some nice curves and leads the eye deeper into the image. I felt like the dark sky put a cap on the image and kept my eye on the river and mountains. |

Nice pano Dave. The image does capture the coast line and you have a nice foreground with the seals. The seals do fill the beach area, and I like the curve of the beach to the right that brings my eye back around and into the water. |

Very nice composition Butch. The elements are all well arranged, so you did some hiking to find the right location. The lighting on Balance Rock is enough to show some depth and highlights, without being overpowering. My eye shifts from the Milky Way to the Rock and holds me. I was photographing in Arches 6-7 years ago and doing some light painting and found that the light painting from other photographers was often distracting to what I was trying to do. But with some patience, I was able to get some nice images and then worked to hike, in the dark, back to our car. |

I like the image Sherry and am always impressed with the capabilities of our phone cameras. I agree with Ian about the foreground and background elements. I think it's a nice composition and the revisit was worth the time and effort. I might suggest eliminating the 2 rock humps, one on the left and one on the right. When I first looked at the image, my eye went directly to the one on the left. |

Thanks for your feedback Ian. Somehow I missed the tilt and it looks better with your change. When I crop, I do several changes to see what I like best. I also try to please myself first and then think about how the image may be judged by others. Sometimes that leads me to making those "judging" changes. Sometimes when I'm not sure of my post processing, finish and close Lightroom and then look at the image again in a week or so to try to see it differently. |

Hi Butch, I agree with your changes to the sky and water. I do see the canting in the buildings and I'll go back to my original and see what I can do to improve that. I appreciate your feedback, I did a lot of work to try to eliminate distractions but didn't do enough on the 2 buildings. |
