Peter, I like the overall composition with the position of the barn and the hills around it. The colors of green, brown and blue sky provide good contrast. I would probably crop the sky a bit or darken the blue and add some highlights to the clouds to get more interest there. I've not been to the Palouse and your image adds to my interest to travel there. |

Dave, it's a great pano image. I also like the large rock on the right as it's an anchor for the foreground and then the left side with the sage brush and darker ground leading to the other peaks and sky in the background. I also would darken the sky with a linear filter to see what additional work there might add. |

Ian, I like all the lines that draw my eye into and through the image. The foreground rocks add an anchor and then the surf curves along the shoreline until it reaches the people both in the water and shore. A great job of keeping everything focused throughout the image. |

Butch - I like how the sunlight is highlighted on the Saguaro's and presume you added some brightness to them in post. I also like the mountains in the background as they give the image a feeling of remoteness and isolation. Lovely image. |

Hi Sherry, I like the composition with the foreground and shoreline. I also thought the sky could be a bit more saturated, but your post looks very good. I like the fishing boat as it adds some perspective and fills a bit of that large open space. |

Thanks for your comments Ian. I had entered the image into our club competition prior to getting the feedback. I'll be interested to hear comments from the judges to see what they think of the image. |

Hi Sherry, I also like the additional contrast that Butch provided in his rework of the image. I'm always hesitant to go to far with some of the post processing and should do more experimenting. The comments from others are very helpful. |
