Thanks for your feedback Ian. I've decided the photo can use some additional work and all the suggestions will help with that. After my second round of editing, I'll enter the image into one of our club competitions to see what additional comments I get. |

I like the image Peter. The long exposure treatment really helps with the clouds and waterfalls. There is a lot in the photo to keep my interest and I looked through the photo several times to get all the details. I thought the white area in the lower left was bit of a distraction and would try to clone/crop/darken the area to see if that helps. |

I like the view of the harbor and the business with the ferry boats. I don't generally do much with clear blue skies other than crop them to a minimum. I see the suggestion from Butch and it does add some additional interest. I like the view from a higher point to get all the harbor, opera house, and city behind. A great photo Ian. |

I love the shot and it helps reinforce the rule of foreground, middle ground, and background with something of interest in each element. I always like still water and the reflections in it to add interest to an image. It's a very nice shot and helps me visualize some shots here in Wisconsin. I've never been to Hawaii, but have it on our travel list. |

I love the sharpness in the moon and the light reflecting in the water. I see where using 2 shots gave you more options for the final image and I like the black and white nature of the image. It's a beautiful shot, well composed and processed. |

After I got home, I looked at the image on my larger screen and agree that cloning out the extra greenery improved the image. I'll submit the final image to one of our club competitions to see what their judges feedback is. |

I didn't think about the option for 2 shots. I was walking with a group and had a very limited time to take the shot. I tried about 3 different shutter speeds, and the 1/4 second was best. I do see some blur in the fern, so having a 2 shot approach would have been a good solution. |
