Thanks Ian. I'm a poor judge of my own work and appreciate feedback from others that help me to be less critical of my results. |

Thanks for the feedback Sherry. We really enjoyed our time in Kenya and are hoping to return next year. Pretty extraordinary place and the people were all great. |

Hi Peter, I have a hard time with architecture shots, but you've done a great job here. I would remove some of the signs which were distracting for me, otherwise the monochrome treatment really helps with the image and elimates any colors which might be confusing when looking at the finished image. |

Hi Ian, great shot and congratulations on experimenting. I like the image and did think it was a moonlite shot until reading your description. The reflection of the sun holds my attention and keeps me interested. |

A great image Butch. I see the compression effect with the boulders and it does add a nice foreground element to the shot. I like the starkness of the trees and the overall scene and in particular the way you handled the white snow. The edges with the snow seem to have good contrast and the shadows help highlight the boulders. It was a lot of work and took a committed effort to accomplish. Great job as usual. |

Hi Sherry, that's a beautiful shot in a great photo location. I love waterfalls and slower shutter speeds to get the water more silky. My thoughts would be to crop a bit more on the sides or make it vertical with more focus on the waterfall and less on the rocky edges. I also like a darker sky to pull the eye down a bit. That's if it were my photo, but I like the work you've done and it's a great shot. |

Hi Butch, I'm not sure why I used f6 either. I think we were looking for animals and with low light I probably lowered the f-stop for better light and faster shutter speed. I like the lightened foreground in your example, so thanks for the advice. |
