Thanks for the "find" Ian, I had missed that item. The monument was well visited on the day we were there and I did some removal of people and fixed the sand somewhat as well. I didn't check the edges as much as I should. I appreciate your feedback. |

You might try to crop some of the sky. One word of advice I received recently regarding sky was "did you go to this place to get a picture of the sky or of the landscape". So I'm now more aware of keeping sky limited unless it's something that really adds mood to the photo. |

Really nice composition and gives the appearance of a cold winter morning in Yellowstone. The clear blue sky add some color to the normal wintery white colors and having the people hiking on the trail with the steam around them adds perspective to the scene. |

The center of the image appears to be a break or trail through the woods and leads me into the image. I think that a bit more of the ground would provide a "place to stand" for the viewer. The car isn't a distraction for me. |

Great photo, your position as the photographer makes it appear you are way up in the mountains and the sun on the peaks really highlights the image. |
