WOW - this is GREAT. The matching intensity of the flowers and the leaves really makes the picture. They perfectly share the spotlight. Please clone a green leaf into that patch of white on the left - it really stands out as a distraction. |

Lori - the flower is the perfect star. The texture is wonderful. And the background is totlaly different from the flower, which further accentuates the texture in the flower. I might suggest fading or softening the background just a little more, and perhaps darkening the brightest spots back there to avoid distraction. |

Amazing - and hand held. This is the way this bug should be in all photos. He and where his feet are are perfectly focused. Everything else has a soft touch to it. Perfect! Considering that all shots of this bug have a diagonal dimension to them because of the wing length, you got it right and the shot shows NO focus fading toward the wing tips. GOOD JOB!!! |

Nadia - another winner for you! First, you got all those birds perfectly. Then you got this wonderful idea. Then you got that little tree and had to do the cutout and arrange the branches. And the great colorizing and texturizing of the background really brings the scene into harmony. You have a great gift with color! The birds all show up great. This one is amazing. -Melissa |

Hazel - all the images are great captures. I really like the way you have laid them out. And I don't find that one image out of place among the rest at all. For me - the one thing that might be taking away from the overall beauty of the flowers (they are all in great focus) is the use of the vibrant yellow for the background. I think this might be much more effective if the background were a tan, brown, even a fairly dark green. Then your flowers would become the stars-Melissa |

Brad - I like how the light is on the viewer's face - like the painting is lighting up his viewer. Beautiful work on capturing all the texture on that frame so evenly. -Melissa |

Tom - how clever. I have seen tree leaves as hair before, but never thought much of using roots. It is wonderful! I shall try that. Of course, I gotta find a great face to put under the roots! -Melissa |

Ed - this is a very pleasing images with the 2 pines framed so well. And the atmosphere is a little balmy. I do not see a difference between the original and this image...? |
