Group Round C/R Comment Date Image
73 Jun 23 Reply I am not this advanced, Ian. Perhaps in the future. I went back a couple of times to the canal but it is so low as we haven't had rain that any image wouldn't even be similar, much less the same. I may have had different positions which might have captured a tree or other anchor, but I lost those RAW files. So - next year I will try again. At least this one is not far to go. Thanks so much.

73 Jun 23 Comment Thanks everyone for all the comments and suggestions. This canal is in the town of Phoenixville, not far from Valley Forge Park, (Philadelphia) for those familiar. The canal is not big. I am standing on a road bridge. Not sure if I can go much wider; seems to me that there was a lot of interference. Tomorrow I will be back and take a look. We have been very very dry this year so I am not expecting the same scene and hope it has not dried up. Will try to work with the various comments. Jun 14th
73 Jun 23 Comment I agree with Dhananjay about the "I want to go there" thought. I have been to Door County many years ago and this is a reminder that I should go back. I'm not sure that you could have gotten the whole tree in your image though. Those trees are very tall and would most likely need to be a vertical. Very nice. Jun 11th
73 Jun 23 Comment Really nice! I love that the high ISO doesn't hurt the sharpness of your image and through a window too. Well done! Jun 11th
73 Jun 23 Comment Beautiful. I love all of the layers here. Jun 11th
73 Jun 23 Comment How very cool. A sense of place, a sense of peace. Jun 11th
73 Jun 23 Comment I agree with Gary's comments. Cropping the sky will help and if you want to keep a 4x6 ratio then crop the rocks on the right. I must say though, with only cropping the sky I like the resulting panorama. Good one. Jun 11th
73 Jun 23 Comment I love the image Sherry. I wonder if the dehaze removed the color in the sky? Or adding exposure, which I have found removes the sunset color. Perhaps a layer, selecting the sky, then inverting to do your dehaze. Or, the same idea of inverting the sky layer or in a similar way, choosing background - mountain and foreground, to open shadows but no lose the colors of sunset. Perhaps this was already in your processing. Still a very nice image.
