Thanks, Gary. A good thought. Will look through my images to see if I have any with more foreground. |

Yellowstone in the winter is magical and you have captured it at it's best! The bluebird sky with the steam and the snow in all different perspectives, with bright sun and also shadows. Nicely done. |

Very impressive, Gary. The soft focus of the sky and beach with the muted colors against the Memorial Monument speaks to the moment. I think you must have been out quite early to get this image without others around. Very nice.

What a wonderful view. A little dizzying and at the same time the eye keeps circling the image. That this is shot at F19 makes the whole image with the river in the upper right so sharp.
Very nicely done. |

Beautiful Sherry. I love the mountains against the sky and am so glad you were able to recover your images. I too have lost some RAW file, so disappointing.
The sun coming over Mount Blanc and then the layers of background are wonderful. So nice to see.

Thanks, Ian. I was of two thoughts on this. The posted image felt like it gave a sense of place, scale. I have attached the same image, cropping out the car. By doing so, I have lost the tree trunks though. I like this one also, but have heard comments about the scale and losing the basis for the trees. As you said, here or/nor there. |
