There is so much detail and great colorations that I prefer featuring just the bloom. I think your attempt to show a leading line is unnecessary and creates a distraction. A tight crop as shown by Stuart is all you need. The lighting is great. Hopefully you will eventually get a tasty fruit. |

I can understand why you wanted to create something different. I have seen dozens like your original, which is great. I don't think your post processing is drab. Your replacement sky shows a overcast day where the sun is hidden by the storm clouds moving in. I think the vignette tool is often overused. I'm mot sure it was needed on the rocks at the bottom of the image. Your post processing crests a beautiful moody day. |

I agree this is a tough shot. I noticed the two birds on the lower left side are in the best light. My suggestion would be to create a portrait shot of just these two birds. The color and movement of the water is so beautiful. |

It's hard to believe you got that much detail during your post processing and I agree with the others that it would be better in the "general" category rather than "Nature". I think your crop is a little too tight because the reflection in the water cut off his head. You were able to capitalize in the original so I think it is worth including it in your final post processing. The action freeze frame is great. |

Great action shot. I like that you did not over saturate the image so that it looks realistic. By just cropping out the bushes on the right you kept our attention on the rider. Action shots are not perfect so I think it is important to keep the imperfections of the dirt and the dust created by the dirt bike. You increased the saturation of just the rider so he is not competing with his surroundings. |
