Nice shot and the post processing is very good. I suggest you look more closely at other frames shot of this bird within seconds. I believe you have a shot showing the bird's right wing. As shot I see a bird with one wing. She's beautiful but I believe you were concentrating on the big picture and just overlooked this detail. |

In most competitions this image would be viewed as a portrait which is a very difficult category. In an "open" competition most portraits are posed using studio lighting with no distractions. Choosing a title ("Street Artist In Siena") can sometimes help the judges understand from your perspective what you were seeing and feeling when you took the photo. I think it would score best in the "travel" category because you would be completing with similar subjects under a uncontrolled situation. I agree with you, she is a captivating subject but as shot there are background distractions merging with her face. Your subject is sharp, the natural lighting and the exposure is excellent.

Flipping the direction and changing the orientation to a landscape allows the viewer to appreciate the posture and reflection of this bird. |

I agree with you. I should've cloned them out because they do not add to improving the image. |

This is a nice capture of a eagle. I too have traveled many hours in the hopes of getting that dream shot. Since you now live closer, I am sure next Winter you will get those shots. Your post processing is pretty good but you missed an opportunity to improve the exposure on the top edge of both wings that appear very dark. Overall this is a very good close up of a eagle in flight. |

Great post processing. You have brought this restaurant to life. I think you should show this image to your friend. I wouldn't be surprised if she offered to buy a copy for advertising this unique family restaurant. A web page would create such a demand for reservations that she would become booked solid. |

Are you kidding?? I love sport photography. Your post processing is outstanding. I had to go back and look at the original to fully appreciate all the work you did. Your combination of monochrome and color creates a image I would frame and display in my home, if it were mine. |

Thanks for the positive feedback. Are you suggesting that I clone out those clouds since they are so small? |
