Good job of isolating a great shot in a busy area... I overlooked this view from this location. I like how you used the trees to frame your shot. Your composition and post processing are excellent. |

Great shot. I think you used the best camera settings. I would suggest taking the shot at multiple apertures but you probably would not have had time to get the same shot. The flower in his mouth sets this image apart and it was good that you added the catch light....you did a great job...it looks natural. I think it's best to eliminate parts of an image that are not sharp when possible. |

Nice shot but I would like to see a tighter crop, after all, the birds are what we want to see ... not the water. Your post processing was done well. |

Great stop action and you got the reflection too. I like your composition which allows us feel the action of that moment. Great job in the amount detail you were able to bring out in the bird's wings and the reflection. I am really impressed with being able to see both the top and underside of the bird. We usually don't get to see a bird from this perspective. |

Congratulations Joan on your "Silver Forest" image in the Members Showcase. Great shot. This month's SG-16 image is also very good. I'm glad you eliminated the clouds. You did a great job in bringing out the orange detail in the airplanes. The smoke trails gives us a feeling of how fast the jets were moving. |

WOW... I think your crop was handled very well. To add any more of the background would be a distraction. You were able to get the heart of the image. These little colorful remote homes with their reflections in the lake holds my attention. Your composition and post processing is beautiful. |
