Yes, your chicken is beautiful. You did a very good job in your post processing but I would suggest that you clone out the light feathers on the right side where the feathers are too light and lack detail. This would improve the composition since you don't show the entire rear part of the chicken anyway. The distractions in the background also need to be darkened. Your lighting on the chicken's head and neck is very good and you managed to get a catch light in the eye.
Well done. |

Several years ago I gave up scuba diving for photography because both are very expensive hobbies. Living in Chicago made the choice easy. I've been in Key Largo several months and dream about taking underwater photos. It's not going to happen. I know first hand the challenges you encountered taking this image. Congratulations on a shot well taken. Purchasing Adobe Lightroom might be worthwhile because I believe it has more versatility than Elements. I look forward to seeing more of your underwater images. |

Excellent use of clone stamp and content aware. I also like the flipped version. Perhaps your mind took you to the thought of a beached whale so you used sand for the background. I see a great photo to display if shown with a very black background to highlight the natural color of the bones. It's good to see that you kept the natural lighting on the skeleton during your post processing. |

This is a wonderful shot. Your post processing and crop are very well done. Don't change a thing. The vertical sample has too much wasted space in the sky. If you just wanted a close up of a sheep you could have gone to the zoo but to capture such a elusive animal in the wild....WOW. I see great detail and a sense of scale in his natural habitat. This is why we travel. |

I don't see this as a "portrait" rather a photo record of the places you have traveled and the interesting people you encountered along the way. This "street" photography captures a great character study in real time. Mohanan did a better job bringing out the detail in his face and dealing with the background while keeping it as an important part of the photo. However, I like you hat best because it shows more detail. Great capture. |

I like this photo as taken. It gives a cultural, historical and educational look into the past. Cropping tighter would not let us see the type of shoes worn or the tapestry of the time. The clothing, paintings/writing on the wall and the books on the shelves show us that not too much has changed with the passage of so much time. I think it is good to show the past as well as the present in our photography. I acknowledge your technical skills in post process which increases my awareness. |
