You took a snap shot and created a very nice portrait. If you know the girl, I think she would love the black and white... I do. I think you just need to add a little more saturation so the photo does not look flat. All the work and time you spent on this photo to improve it is well worth printing. Good job. |

You took a lot of time to find the shot you wanted and it paid off. You could not have planned this composition. Fantastic under stated Nature image. Some rules are are made to be broken. All that water puts me in that moment. The lead bird seems to be marching but the other birds are not following. You need that third bird to complete the story. To capture all three in the exact same position...great luck. The flections and lighting sets the mood. Fantastic image...don't change a thing. |

I find your image very creative. A artful background draws interest to the lightbulbs and keeps our focus on the subject. The light in the bulbs adds impact and the changes in composition show imagination. Great job. |

It's great to be in the right place at the right time. I love the composition, however, I would have cropped out the pier and red boat at the top. It's great the way the boats form a fan. I probably would have painted the other red boat the same color the other boats. I find it a little distracting. Another minor change would be to clone in water in the lower right corner to eliminate the gray triangle area. Your other adjustment evened out the lighting so the image looks natural. Great image.

I like the this shot very much, however, I would have selected the statue to make an inverted selection because I really like the lighting on the original so that it would not be effected by your changes. Removing the spot light in the trees on the lower portion of the image was a good choice. Your other adjustments are very good. |
