Fantastic image. Everything is sharp. My only suggestion is to crop tighter... Take more off the top. The story is the animals interaction with each other. The water does not add to this image. I would not manipulate the fur because the side lighting shows where the light is coming from. Trying to lighten the fur on the back might make the image look manipulated, therefore, not natural. Great Nature shot. |

Taking this shot at that time of day is very difficult without using GND filters. I like your original image best ... yes it needs a very slight adjustment in lighting but I like the mood... less is more. I feel both changes have been over processed and neither image shows the beauty that you saw that evening. |

Your original image has more snap and I agree that the B&W is a stronger image. If you do more work on this image, I would suggest that you saturate the sky above the bridge to add a little more detail and contrast. I like your composition as shot and see the image for its journalistic value as it tells the story of an industrial work zone. |

Catching the butterfly on this flower after the rain gives the colors on the flower a natural shine. There are areas on the wing that are a little blurred but my eyes focus on the stance of the butterfly because the legs and antenna are very sharp.

Thanks for the reminder that we can also alter our images into creative works of art. I like the way every detail of the lines "pop" which draws you into the photo for a closer look. |
