Manas, The colors and the DoF work in tandem to create a foreboding feeling for the viewer. I would lighten the horizontal black spot on the right just a tad to make it look more natural. Also, you don't need all those rocks in the bottom of the photo for a "lead-in". In all, good eye. The photo is very captivating. |

Howard, What a great capture. The detail is outstanding. Your choice of color for the blurred background makes the red bellied woodpecker stand out. Not sure what the blue circle is, but if you could blend it into the background more that would be ideal. |

Yamuni, What a lovely photo of a canopy road. The photos would be more interesting if you cropped more off the left side. Composition would also improve if you took the photo from the middle of the road rather than offside. And, I would tone down the yellows as Bob suggested. |

Peter: This is a gorgeous photo of the Aurora Borealis. The buildings in the forefront give perspective of how immense the mountains are, and the mountains give perspective of how immense the Aurora Borealis is. Good focus and clarity. Love the spot you chose to let Mother Nature tell her story, and, of course, your ability to transcend what you saw into a photo. Nice work. |
