Peter: The softness within this photo along with the perfectly focused red-crowned cranes in the forefront makes for a beautiful image to the viewer. The combination of the white and blue reflects the cold temperature which sets the mood of the photo. A suggestion would be to crop the right side of the photo to where the capital letter in Cranes begins. Some might say, "the photo would not be balanced", but I think it would make for an interesting photo leaving questions unanswered. Love the photo! |

Howard: There are so many positives to say about this image, I am not sure where to begin. The bokeh background certainly helps the coyote to stand out and give the image a sense of strength. The clarity and spot-on focus of the photo captures the eye of the viewer especially in the coyote's facial features. The coyote's eye beautifully depicts a range of emotions from steadfastness to sorrow. Thank you for sharing this beautiful image. |
