37 Feb 24 Comment You are the author Delian. The viewer is just that. Many different opinions for a great learning experience. In the end, you are still the author. Feb 18th
37 Feb 24 Reply You are welcome Meredith! Feb 18th
37 Feb 24 Comment Napoleon: Wow, what a great image! It's too bad his left elbow is not showing. The detail and clarity in the photo is really good. One "small" detail you may want to do is to soften the light on the point of the star located on the models hat. Otherwise, this is a wonderful portrait photo. Kudos! Feb 18th
37 Feb 24 Comment Howard: This is a gorgeous image of an Egret getting the nest ready for her babies. However, the sharp details of the wing only enhance the fact that the feathers on the crown and neck need to be sharper in detail. Also, it would be a plus to the image, if the three leaves that are out of focus on the Egret would be eliminated. In all, this is a great photo Howard with just some minor corrections! Feb 18th
37 Feb 24 Comment Bob: You have certainly captured the detail in this photo to perfection. The effort you put into getting the blue light out of the white dress looks great. The photo almost looks like you took the man and woman out of its original photo and put them on the black background. It does not appear natural to me. Perhaps lightening the background a bit may soften and/or eliminate this prospective. I always find your photos interesting and this one is no exception! Feb 18th
37 Feb 24 Comment Delian: Unlike Meredith, I like having two subjects in the photo. With two subjects the photo tells a more complete story. The focus is clearly sharp and reflects the expression on the second runner's face, along with her "flying braids" her desire to go faster and pass the first runner. This is a very nice photo! 37 Feb 24 Comment Meredith: To me, your photo of the Wanaka Tree exhibits a near perfect third picture format. The focus is spot-on and the contrast compliments the exposure beautifully. Great capture, especially for a very windy day! Feb 18th
37 Feb 24 Comment Peter: Your photo of the Great Egret with the Cypress Trees in the background is beautiful. In addition to cropping the right side (as suggested by Meredith), I would (just out of curiosity), flip the photo so that the subject is facing to the left. Like Meredith, I tried doing this but failed. The reason I suggest to flip the photo, is to soften the tail view for the observer. Must admit I do love the photo. Feb 18th
