Thanks for your suggestion Lee Ann! I did not even notice the building on the right. Yes, I must learn to pay attention to the details more. |

Howard: What a great suggestion! I totally agree. A little vignette around the bright blue sky would certainly help the image! Thanks! |

Howard: This photo reflects the beautiful display of fireworks you witnessed July 4th. The clarity and sharpness you captured is enviable. I especially love the silhouettes of the two people in the photo. To me, at least, the silhouettes convey a full circle moment that adds warmth to the photo. Not sure what the lines are on the person on the right, but I would get rid of them along with the tree on the left. In all,
a gorgeous photo! |

Thanks for the photo info on the original Bob. As a "newbie" to photography, I especially note the information used to capture photos! That being said, your developing skills are certainly appreciated as they enhance the photo tremendously. Especially given that it was a cloudy day.
Love the sharp detail on the rider and they way you brought out his face. The bull clearly demonstrates he is one solid mass of muscle. Some masking on the back leg is definitely a must. However, I would be careful not to delete too much of the dust as that conveys part of the action of the bull.
Your decision to darken the background and lighten the subjects adds to the reality of the action.
I agree with Lee Ann, this is definitely a WOW shot! |

Hi Peter: This action photo really captures what the game is all about. Playing to win. The obvious detractor are the feet at the bottom of the photo. Bob's suggestion to "extend the canvas and cloning some grass" to make lemonade out of lemons sounds like a great solution. If you do that it would be interesting to see the results. Also, cloning the lighter spots around the ball, and other light spots that appear throughout the photo would definitely enhance the viewer's focus on the action that is occurring in the photo. In all, it's a great shot! |

Kudos to you Lee Ann for getting this shot under the circumstances that you did! The photo is so sharp, especially the eye. The lighting is also perfect. As already suggested, I would give the "bird" more room to breathe on the left of the photo using the techniques other's have already mentioned. If you lighten the leg, I would only do a "smige" so it does not conflict with the other leg and give an unbalanced feel to the viewer. Darkening the white on the grass will certainly make your subject pop, in a good way. Again, Great Shot! |
