Bob, What is not to love about this photo. The expression on the cub's face is priceless. Not sure how close you were, but if you are using a 150 to 600 I would guess you are not that close. Under the circumstances you did a great job of capturing this tender moment between mother and cub! |

Howard, Wow and double wow. What a great photo. This is a photo that really captures your eye. At first it does look like the photo is off-centered. It appears to be cropped more on the right side. Perhaps it's an optical illusion. There is no denying the sharpness of detail from the items on the first floor to the second floor
wall bust(s), railing and shadow of railing on the rug. The key to a photo of this magnitude is Symmetry for sure. Kudos to you Howard for such a great photo! |

Peter, This is a great photo. Although you would never guess it is part of a golf course. The balance of the sky to the distance houses to the bay to the foreground blends very nicely especially with the building on the right. I actually like the slant of the two broken off tree trunks. They add to the balance of reality. My only suggestion would be to bring the houses across the bay more into focus rather than melding so much into the background. |

Lee Ann, Thank you for the background information. In a photo of this nature it always helps to know the meaning of why the photo is so special to you. There is a lot going on on the right side of the photo. I believe this distracts from the beauty of the building. Perhaps, taking the photo from a different angle. For example: Standing more to the left to still maintain the beauty of the building, but eliminating the "busyness" of what is going on with the right side of the photo. In all it is an excellent image that reflects the beauty of the past. |

Peter, I agree with Lee Ann and Peter, this image of Mt. Fuji is very appealing to the eye. The complimentary colors of the red and green in the foreground only add to the beauty of the white tipped mountain. I do find the buildings in the lower right a distraction from the serenity of the mountain. Otherwise, I love the photo! |

Thanks Bob. Love your suggestions from darkening the top bill of the lower bird to sharpening the overall photo. It all makes sense. |

Your corrections (changes) on the photo make such a difference. Thank you so much Lee Ann for taking the time to explain what you did and showing me the end result. Your new photo of my little creatures look so much better than my version. |
