42 Apr 25 Comment I see two lines on my screen, but they don't detract from your clean, minimalist image in my opinion. The simplicity and elegance of your composition remain striking. Apr 23rd
42 Apr 25 Comment I didn't see the band. Maybe because I saw it after your corrected it. Thank you for a nice sailboat image at sunset. Apr 13th
42 Apr 25 Comment Hi Charles,

This is a beautiful image at sunset. Your treatment of the sky is very well done - rich and colorful. I especially like the two palm trees; their silhouettes complement the sky nicely.

As for the silhouette of the two people, I honestly didn't notice. A bit more separation between them might make a big difference in your composition.

Thank you for sharing such a lovely sunset on the beach!

56 Apr 25 Reply Gerhard, looking back at this image with your comments in mind, I agree: while there's a street, people, and even a majestic mountain, what it truly lacks is a story.

56 Apr 25 Comment Gerhard, this is a well-captured image with warm, inviting colors. What's interesting is that the composition remains strong even if the two couples on the left were removed. With that in mind, I might consider making the lady and the food truck in the middle a bit brighter, while slightly dimming the rest of the image to draw the viewer's attention and create a stronger initial impact. 56 Apr 25 Comment Good story and well captured. Apr 13th
56 Apr 25 Comment Hi Martin, This is a beautiful and vivid image. Your choice of shutter speed perfectly froze the motion and captured the couple's facial expressions with great clarity. While the couple enjoyed their conversation, the lady in the poster almost seemed to join in - eyes closed, as if amused by their exchange.

Your adjustment based on Trey's suggestion added a pleasing dimension to the image. Well done!

93 Apr 25 Comment I can't get enough of Japanese pagodas. They are exquisitely designed and always built in stunning locations. Your image captures this beauty well, particularly through its composition. I like your use of V-shaped foreground trees to frame the pagoda. However, the dense background foliage diminishes the pagoda's impact as the main subject. I suggest converting the image to monochrome to enhance contrast and darkening the green background foliage to make the pagoda stand out within the dramatic V-shaped frame. Apr 23rd
93 Apr 25 Comment This is a beautiful scene, with a lovely, smooth color gradient in the sky and water. I agree with others that part of the foreground water could be cropped. Additionally, adjusting the sides could further enhance the composition. The left rocks protruding from the water are striking, with their bold textures and dramatic shapes, but their impact is overshadowed by the cluttered right side. I'd suggest cropping the right side beyond the central dip to make the left rocks the focal point, highlighting their dynamic presence. Apr 23rd
