Richard - appreciate your critique and agree that the light on the leaf is distracting. |

Julia - thanks for the suggestions to mask the leaf, reduce the highlights and crop a bit more. |

Oleg - I love the smell of lilacs and like your photo. Thanks for sharing the good luck charm of a lilac flower with 5 petals - nice job emphasizing that bloom in your composition.
I do find myself moving up and to the right within your photo since the upper right corner is very bright. Perhaps you could use some selective masking to darken that area a bit.
I look forward to reading your article on bokeh but couldn't get it to load on my system. Perhaps you could share another link. Thanks! |

Marilyn - you've captured a very sweet moment between this young girl and her mom. Your B&W editing make it a timeless image. If it were my image, I might reduce the vignetting a little bit as it's cutting into her thumb on the lower left and also more noticeable at the lower right where it meets her white top. |

Hi Oleg - thanks for the feedback and guidance to utilize a polarizer filter. I didn't have one that day at the gardens...but will remember to use one the next time. |
