Hi Jacqueline - welcome to our group and I really like your photo. I agree with others that the composition is really strong and it's a great subject. It's easy to picture the scene and imagine the seaside location. I really like the foreground elements and agree with Richard about improving the contrast and reducing brightness. Thanks for sharing. |

Marilyn - thanks for the comments and suggestions to darken those brighter spots. I don't have a lot of experience shooting with flash...but agree, those areas are distracting. |

Richard - thanks for the comments and I don't remember whether or not I was shooting with a tripod or not...if not, should have increased my shutter speed for sure! |

Previet Oleg and welcome to the group! I really like your image and am so intrigued by the flower. The center area looks almost like jelly.
I'm not familiar with the filters you used but will do some reading as I'm interested in learning more about macro photography.
Thanks for sharing!

Julia - I really appreciate how you're constantly trying new techniques and sharing the outcomes with us. I've tried something similar and know how challenging it is to capture.
Great job with the image and composition. Could you share a bit about your lighting and if you used a backdrop? |

Hi Santosh and thanks for sharing your drink-themed photo. I like the capture and it really raises a lot of questions for me as I ponder the scene. Is this a self-serve teapot? Or one that servers would use?
I like the way the lighting hits the pot and the reflection in the glass as well.
If it were my photo, I might crop the right side where the blue decal is a bit distracting and doesn't add much to the composition. |

Marilyn - your photo and the story is a great testament to the value of patience for photographers. Great capture of his yawn movements and your photo is sharp with good details.
I also liked your texture additions and it mimics what I imagine a more natural, safari-style photo.

Richard - I like how you cropped the photo and I'm always amazed at the variety of alcohol available in some bars. Your editing brightened the photo and I like the selection you chose especially the skull bottles on the right side.
Thanks for sharing! |
