Julia - thanks for the information about your camera body, settings, and capability of the R5 vs R7. I'm a Canon shooter too and have been wondering about going mirrorless. The auto focus stacking is intriguing. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge of photography and using different set-ups in your submissions. |

Shirley - Wow - your quilt is beautiful and your nephew is blessed to have this gift and I hope he treasures it! I love all the different fabrics and the back story of sourcing the shirts at your thrift store. I know a project like this is a true labor of love - from cutting the fabric, sewing the pieces together, attaching to a backing fabric, etc.

Julia - thanks for sharing your Mah Jongg hobby - I've played a few times and really enjoyed it. I'd like to know a bit more about focus stacking with the R7 and assume you used a tripod. Does the camera determine where to focus automatically in successive images?
I really love the reflections of the game pieces too. Thanks for sharing! |

Richard - thanks for sharing the video and I really enjoyed the scenes around NYC - the visit to ground zero is especially moving as I've been there too and it's such an emotional experience.
I loved the scenes from the pumpkin head contest - some people are so creative!
You did a great job pairing music with the photos/video too.
