Santosh - thanks for sharing your image from your visit to Amsterdam. Like Julia, I love the symmetry and how you captured the red boat coming towards you. There is some haze in the sky that detracts a bit but overall, it's a great shot! You can just imagine being in the scene! |

Richard - thanks for sharing your shot and and revised image after removing the green bud. I agree it's an improvement over the original image. It reminds me of peacock feathers and is so striking. Beautiful photo!! |

Marilyn - I love the expression of the child and how you blurred the background to create more separation from the subject. It seems to complement the backlighting too which gives her almost a halo or an aura effect. Thanks for sharing the technique too - I'll have to try that sometime! |

Julia - I really like the image and B&W processing. As others have said, it's sharp and has a nice composition. |

Thanks for the feedback and I will try your crop suggestion. I'm a novice in learning about birds so don't know the difference in pelicans nor why these would be so white versus grey like yours in Florida. |

Thanks Julia! I had no idea they were so large. So fun to see them in "my backyard". |
