Shirley - beautiful fall colors and love all the textures as well. The spot of sun certainly draws the eyes to that part of the photo as well. My only suggestion is to crop a bit off the top - maybe halfway between the leaf on the left and top of the image. Nice capture! |

Julia - thanks for sharing your image and your technique. Like Richard, I wasn't familiar with this method but agree, you did a great job! I love the reflections especially of the petal. Good luck with your club competition too. |

Beautiful shot and nice composition with the bud centered in the frame. Great detail in the flower and beautiful background colors complimenting the colors in the flower. |

Richard - lovely photo and appreciate seeing the before/after to see the impact of your edits. Like the focus on the wine glass with the beautiful valley in the background. However, the backlit background is quite harsh and my eyes want to wander to the left of the glass. Perhaps you could tone down those areas a bit in post. |

Marilyn - really like your image and the juxtaposition of the Gucci banner with the horse bit designs and the water hydrant. Interesting contrast of color and complimentary shapes. Nicely seen!! |

Richard - thanks for your comments and suggestions and I'll keep the exposure/ISO settings in mind next time I'm out for a sunrise shoot. I did use a tripod on this shoot.
